Established in 1958, the Charlotte Pony Club (CPC) is an active member of The United States Pony Club, Inc. Pony Club is a great supplement to your program, providing the comradery of a team with exceptional eventing and dressage instruction.
Our members are from all over Vermont and range in age from 8 to 70 years old. They have earned certifications ranging from D1 thru HA. We meet each Monday afternoon throughout the summer for mounted and unmounted meetings; our focus is on horsemanship, developing independence and safety. Our riders participate in Eventing; which includes dressage, stadium jumping and cross country training. Our club organizes weekly lessons with exceptional instructors; Andrea Waldo, Catie Hill Waterman , and John Bourgoin. Please see their Bios for their lengthy list of accomplishments in the equine industry.
Our members often participate as a team in Regional or National Pony Club Rallies (Horse Shows). Our club holds clinics, field trips, study sessions as well as social activities throughout the year. We really like spending time with our CPC community!
Our summer meetings are held at High Wind Farm, a premier cross country schooling facility at 100 Roscoe Rd, Monkton, Vermont.
